On October 28, the Shijiazhuang Municipal Government held a symposium on the textile and apparel industry to solicit opinions and suggestions on establishing the “Shijiazhuang Textile and Apparel Industry Alliance” and supporting the high-quality development of the textile and apparel industry. At the meeting, Shijiazhuang Changshan Textile Group Co., Ltd., Jihua 3502 Professional Clothing Co., Ltd., Jihua 3514 Tannery and Shoemaking Co., Ltd., Yiming Clothing and Apparel Equipment Technology Group Co., Ltd., Hebei Xindadong Textile Co., Ltd., Hebei Jigao Chemical Fiber Co., Ltd., Hebei Zhongji Wanlong Textile Co., Ltd., Hebei Haowei Garment Co., Ltd., Shijiazhuang Xinhe Fiber Technology Co., Ltd., Hebei Lanhao Cashmere Products Co., Ltd., Hebei Shengyue Import and Export Co., Ltd., Representatives from more than ten companies including Hebei Xinwei Garment Co., Ltd. and heads of provincial and municipal textile and garment industry associations and relevant municipal departments spoke freely and put forward many constructive opinions and suggestions. Zhan Peng, deputy mayor of Shijiazhuang City, attended the meeting and made arrangements for relevant work.
The meeting pointed out that the textile and garment industry is one of Shijiazhuang’s traditional industries and has the basic conditions to become bigger and stronger. At the same time, the textile and clothing industry is also a fashion industry, which is an objective need to accelerate the construction of a modern, international and beautiful provincial capital city.
The meeting required that the Shijiazhuang Textile and Garment Industry Alliance should be established as soon as possible, and the industry development positioning and industry alliance service positioning should be further clarified to give full play to the industry’s guiding role. Relevant municipal departments should provide strong support to textile and garment enterprises in terms of technical transformation funds and smart factory construction. It is necessary to give full play to the open organizational role of the industrial alliance and actively carry out docking cooperation with central enterprises, scientific research institutes, etc. In addition, it is necessary to actively promote the construction of textile and clothing brands and standardization, and coordinate services in terms of policies, information, technology, talents, and benchmarking advanced enterprises to promote the transformation, upgrading, and high-quality development of the city’s textile and clothing industry.
