On April 6, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam issued an anti-dumping filing announcement, deciding to formally impose anti-dumping measures on polyester filaments originating in China, India, Indonesia, and Malaysia upon application by Vietnamese domestic enterprises. An anti-dumping investigation was launched on yarn products (polyesterfilamentyarn), involving products under Vietnam Customs tariff numbers 5402.33.00, 5402.46.00, and 5402.47.00. The dumping investigation period in this case is for the whole year of 2019, and the damage investigation period is from 2017 to 2019.
