On February 20, 2020, Paraguay issued a final decree incorporating MERCOSUR Group Resolution No. 62/18 “Mercosur Technical Regulations on Textile Trademarks” National law and partially repeals Decree No. 12085 of April 23, 2008.
Paraguay, Argentina, Brazil, and Uruguay are all members of the Mercosur Group. Mercosur has approved the Uniform Technical Regulations on Textile Labeling in July 2019, aiming to promote free trade and ensure clear textile labeling.
