On March 3, 2020, the WTO Safeguards Committee released the safeguard notification submitted to it by the Indonesian delegation on February 28. Indonesia has made final safeguard measures on imported curtains (Including Drapes), Interior Blinds, Bed Valances, and Other Furnishing Articles, and it is recommended to start in May 2020 Safeguard measures will be implemented in the form of special tariffs on the products involved from May 27, 2020 to November 8, 2022. The details are as follows: From May 27, 2020 to November 8, 2020, the tax amount is 41,083 Indonesian rupiah/kg, and on November 9, 2020 -November 8, 2021 is IDR 34,961/kg, and November 9, 2021 – November 8, 2022 is IDR 28,839/kg. The Indonesian tax numbers of the products involved are 6303.12.00, 6303.19.90, 6303.91.00, 6303.92.00, 6303.99.00, 6304.19.90, 6304.91.90, 6304.92.00.
Stakeholders should submit electronic and paper consultation applications within 7 days of the announcement.

On September 18, 2019, Indonesia imposed restrictions on imported curtains (including curtains), blinds, bed curtains and other decorative products.
