On February 27, 2020, the U.S. Consumer Safety Commission (CPSC) announced a recall of Chinese-made children’s pajamas.
The recalled product is JustBlanks children’s pajamas. Made of 92% cotton 8% acrylic. There are two kinds of patterns: birthday and elephant. The birthday pattern has blue decoration on the bottom and sleeves, and the elephant pattern has pink decoration. Tracking number 20190329 is printed on the neck tag.
This product does not meet federal flammability standards for children’s pajamas and poses a burn hazard to children.
The recalled products were sold in the United States from August 2019 to December 2019. About 450 pieces were sold, priced at about US$30.
No accidents or casualties have been reported so far.
CPSC advises consumers to stop using the product immediately and contact Ishtex Textile Products for a full refund.
