On January 10, 2019, Health Canada announced a recall of Chinese-made girls’ hats.
The recalled product is JoeFresh® girls’ winter hat. Model number W9GT005345 is printed on the label.
The buckles of this product may detach, posing a choking hazard to children.
The products recalled were sold in Canada from September to December 2019, with about 20 products sold.
As of January 6, 2020, no reports of accidents or casualties have been received.
Health Canada advises consumers to stop using the product immediately and return the product to JoeFresh® for a full refund.
