Indian cotton yarn prices remain firm

In the past week, cotton and chemical fiber prices in India have been stable, and cotton yarn prices have remained strong. Since cotton prices have basically stopped falling, cotton mills have not been able to lower their product quotations. India’s CCI acquisition has made the domestic cotton market price higher than MSP. At the same time, chemical fiber prices also remained strong due to a rebound in Chinese chemical fiber prices. Polyester and viscose yarn prices in India continue to fall due to weaker viscose staple fiber prices.
