On September 20, 2019, the WTO Safeguards Committee released the notification on the filing of safeguard measures submitted to it by the Indonesian delegation. On September 18, 2019, at the request of the Indonesian Textile Association, the Indonesian Safeguards Measures Committee initiated safeguards on imported curtains (including curtains), blinds, bed curtains and other decorative fabric products (Curtains (Including Drapes), Interior Blinds, Bed Valances, and Other Furnishing Articles) Measures to initiate investigation. The Indonesian tax numbers of the products involved are 6303.12.00, 6303.19.90, 6303.91.00, 6303.92.00, 6303.99.00, 6304.19.90, 6304.91.90, 6304.92.00.

Stakeholders should register their responses in paper and electronic forms within 15 days from the date of filing the case. The hearing is scheduled to be held from 10 a.m. to 12 a.m. on October 1, 2019. Stakeholders participating in the hearing should submit relevant evidence documents before September 26, 2019.
