Akhmetov said that Kazakhstan’s annual wool output is about 36,000 tons. Kazakhstan once exported 5,000 tons of wool to China, but it was later suspended due to the lack of inspection and quarantine certificates. Previously, Kazakhstan exported high-quality fine wool to China. In the future, it will mainly export semi-coarse wool used for insulation and sports materials.
