Among them, garment exports were 7.91 billion yuan, an increase of 26.88%. Most types of clothing exports are on the rise, and outdoor clothing performed well. Exports in the first three quarters were 2 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 35.05%. During the same period, fabric exports amounted to 668 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 35.13%. In addition to the upward trend in exports of cotton cloth with a cotton content of 85% or more, the export of chemical fiber and other fabrics as of September was 490 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 199.64%. It is the category with the fastest export growth among the textile and apparel categories.
According to industry data analysis, clothing is still the main export product of Shishi City, accounting for 65.03% of total exports. Fabrics and chemical fiber fabrics are showing a growth momentum, especially the export of chemical fiber and other fabrics. Although the absolute volume is not large, the growth rate is rapid. The market demand for outdoor clothing, functional clothing and high-end fabrics with high cotton content, is very promising and continues to grow.
