In August 2018, Vietnam exported US$3.172 billion in textiles and clothing, a year-on-year increase of 18.12%, and a month-on-month increase of 83.45%. It exported 125,800 tons of yarn, a year-on-year increase of 1.27%, and a month-on-month increase of 54.27%.
In August 2018, Vietnam imported 138,200 tons of cotton, a year-on-year increase of 19.20%, and a month-on-month decrease of 15.21%; imported yarns were 96,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 22.16%, and a month-on-month increase of 7.04%; imported fabrics were US$992 million, a year-on-year increase of 10.12% %, a month-on-month decrease of 11.89%.
