The Dumping and Subsidy Review Committee of the Peruvian National Institute for Competition and Intellectual Property Protection (INDECOPI) passed Resolution No. 087-2016/CDB-INDECOPI on May 23, 2016, modifying the settings established by Resolution No. 0124-2004/TDC-INDECOPI. The anti-dumping tax rate on poplin fabrics originating in China has been extended by resolutions 105-2010/CFD-INDECOPI and 021-2016/CDBINDECOPI, and the tax rate has been reduced from US$1.29 per kilogram to US$1.09 per kilogram. The above modifications shall take effect from the date of publication of the resolution in “El Peruvian”. The products involved are gray fabrics that meet the following conditions: plain or dyed, polyester-cotton blended (polyester weight ratio exceeds 50%) used in the production of clothing with a width less than 1.8 meters and a unit weight between 90-200 grams/square meter.
