From January to May 2015, Indonesia exported a total of 67,100 tons of cotton yarn, a year-on-year increase of 30.44%; it imported 319,700 tons of cotton, a year-on-year increase of 2.63%.
From August 2014 to May 2015, Indonesia exported a total of 132,200 tons of cotton yarn, a year-on-year increase of 43.38%; it imported 632,600 tons of cotton, a year-on-year increase of 10.97%. Indonesia exported 14,100 tons of cotton yarn in May, a year-on-year increase of 37.36%
