China Apparel Wins the Largest Trade Remedy Case Involved

Regarding Peru’s recent withdrawal of anti-dumping measures against Chinese clothing products, China’s Ministry of Commerce spokesperson Shen Danyang said, “This case is the largest trade remedy case involving the largest amount of money ever initiated by a foreign country against Chinese clothing products.” He also introduced, The Chinese government attaches great importance to this case. During the original trial and administrative review of the case, China actively communicated with the secretive side on many occasions to express China’s concerns and put forward suggestions for proper handling. Chinese industries are also actively responding to anti-dumping complaints and filing administrative reconsideration appeals against anti-dumping measures, striving to safeguard their legitimate rights and interests through legal channels. “China welcomes the decision of the Secretariat to revoke the anti-dumping measures against Chinese clothing products through administrative review. China appreciates the professionalism and objective and fair principles reflected in the administrative review ruling.” Shen Danyang said.
