Pakistan’s cotton yarn exports fell slightly

In the first half of this fiscal year (July-December 2013), Pakistan’s cotton yarn exports were US$1.072 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 3%. China is one of the world’s largest importers of cotton yarn, and 80-95% of Pakistan’s cotton yarn export orders come from China. During this period, the growth rate of China’s cotton yarn market slowed down, which had a certain impact on Pakistan’s exports.
