-Hunan textile and clothing import and export situation

From January to April 2013, Hunan’s textile and apparel exports amounted to US$227 million, a year-on-year increase of 17.7%. Among them, textile exports were US$102 million, a year-on-year increase of 4.3%; clothing exports were US$124 million, a year-on-year increase of 31.7%. Hunan’s textile and clothing imports amounted to US$20 million, a year-on-year decrease of 18.6%. Among them, textile imports were US$18 million, a year-on-year decrease of 19.7%; clothing imports were US$20 million, a year-on-year decrease of 7.3%.
