In response to U.S. subsidies for cotton exports, Brazil will increase import tariffs on remaining U.S. products

According to Iran’s “News” report, relevant Brazilian authorities stated that in response to the unreasonable practice of the United States to subsidize cotton exports, Brazil will increase import tariffs on more than 100 types of U.S. products, including cosmetics, household appliances, and kitchen products. The import value of high-end luxury goods such as equipment and automobiles is approximately US$591 million. It is also possible to impose penalties on intellectual property and service industries equivalent to US$238 million.
