Vietnam’s textile exports to the United States increased by % year-on-year

According to Vietnam’s “Investment News”, although Vietnam’s textile exports to the United States have been affected by factors such as quotas and import inspections, Vietnam’s textile exports to the United States are still growing year by year. In 2008, Vietnam’s textile exports to the United States reached US$5.1 billion, a year-on-year increase of 15%. Although U.S. textile imports fell by 12% in the first 11 months of 2009, the quantity of textile imports from Vietnam increased by 18%, while the value only decreased by 4%.
