Design composite fabric information for changing fabric specifications

(1) Calculation of similar fabric design The so-called similar fabric means that two pieces of fabric are of the same type and feel similar in texture, but require a change in the weight of the fabric. In this way, the raw materials of the two fabrics are the same and the main processes are the same. The yarn characteristics and density of the new fabric can be calculated based on the data of the original fabric.


(2) Changing the fabric structure Calculation During product design, if the designer can find similar fabrics from the collected excellent products, they can use the calculation method of similar fabrics mentioned above to solve the problem. However, sometimes similar fabrics cannot be found for new products that need to be designed. In this case, the geometric structure of the fabric can be used to estimate the approximate density of the new fabric, which can be used as a reference for formal design. The raw materials of the new fabric and the original fabric are the same, the yarns are alternate, and the feel and body are similar. They only require changes in the fabric structure. This situation often occurs when designing baggage samples. In addition, this situation also occurs when making beige designs for incoming samples.
