According to customs statistics, my country imported approximately 200,000 tons of cotton yarn in August 2018, which was basically the same as the previous month, and increased by approximately 25.97% year-on-year. It exported approximately 32,400 tons of cotton yarn, which decreased by approximately 4.91% from the previous month, and decreased by approximately 7.04% year-on-year.
In 2017/18, my country imported a total of approximately 2.15 million tons of cotton yarn, an increase of 10.79% over last year; and exported a total of approximately 420,000 tons of cotton yarn, an increase of 12.7% over last year.
