According to a report by Mexico’s “Universa” on May 23, Colombian textile and fashion sector companies hope to strengthen trade relations with Mexico and increase exports to Mexico. The Colombian business community believes that the Mexican market capacity is growing and has good purchasing power. Mexico is Colombia’s third largest textile export market, with exports of US$89 million last year, 60% of which were finished products.
